Snake Using Windows
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
This is a game made out of multiple app windows. What that means is that the game makes multiple copies of itself and moves/stretches these app windows to make Snake!
This was made for Ludum Dare 49.
The theme of the jam was "Unstable" , so I decided to make a program that was itself unstable.
By the way, this was my first game jam. It was fun!
IMPORTANT
- Press escape to close the program
- If the program crashes, delete info.txt and all the programs SHOULD close.
- You should also make sure that info.txt doesn't exist before running the program.
CONTROLS
- Arrow keys to move
GAME INFO
- The programs communicate with a text file which stores "global" variables
- Made with Gamemaker Studio 2
- Each rectangle is a separate game instance
HIDDEN FEATURE
- Press "B" to show the window border (bit buggy though, there is a reason why it is turned off by default)
CHALLENGE
- Try and beat the default high score of 2000 or my personal best of 4700!
